Microsoft previously announced that Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4 would complete the Master Chief Collection on PC before the end of the year. Halo 2: Anniversary will likely also be available to purchase separately if it follows the pattern established by Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, which both featured a standalone price of £6.99/$9.99 USD.

Those Halo fans wanting to go all-in on PC can either play the Halo: Master Chief Collection through Xbox Game Pass on PC or can purchase it for £29.99/$39.99 USD on Steam and the Microsoft Store. Halo Combat Evolved PC (2003), Halo Custom Edition (2004) and Halo 2 PC (2007) have been out for long.

As for the persistent lack of co-op play on PC, well, thats just as unforgivable as it was last. Halo 2: Anniversary's solo campaign and multiplayer modes can be played using either Anniversary's fancied-up visuals or those from the original Halo 2 (switchable at any time), and as with other games in the Master Chief Collection on PC, there's support for 4k UHD, 60+ FPS, and ultra-wide monitors, plus customisable mouse and keyboard, and adjustable FOV. I grew up with and still play games regularly. Master Chief is back in the sci-fi epic that is Halo 2.
